You may have seen an occasional vintage AVION trailer, but chances are you haven’t seen one this nice. Definitely one of the finest specimens we’ve had. This trailer has been completely restored with particular attention to originality. The AVION is a close relative to the AIRSTREAM & STREAMLINE travel trailer families.

This Vintage 1960 21ft AVION SPORTSMAN is a fine specimen of the original vintage aluminum aircraft-style travel trailer which has become an American Icon. Its an all original trailer that is in excellent condition. This is a unique trailer that gets lots of attention everywhere it goes and always stands apart from the crowd. Avion actually rivals or supercedes airstream on many levels [the 70s era]. We possess a clear title with no liens or encumbrances. As you can see from the pictures, the aluminum skin is in excellent condition. PET-FREE & SMOKE-FREE it has a dry weight of approx. 2430 lbs according to factory specs and a hitch weight of 250 lbs. This vintage Vintage 1960 21ft AVION SPORTSMAN has a Seating/Sleeping configuration of (1) Café’ style Double sofa in the front galley and (1) convertible gaucho adjacent forming an L – shaped configuration in the front. It also has plenty of storage, a kitchenette with nice original double sink, (4) Burner original stovetop, and a nice bath with full shower in the rear. The 21ft size is one of the most desirable of all because its size allows plenty of space while still remaining lightweight and easy to maneuver. It is well suited for couples and weekend excursions. This trailer is particularly special because of its unusual features including the extremely pleasing original vintage color scheme matching honey colored birch topped off with a retro turquoise trim and accents.
