I purchased this wonderful traveling home new September 2006. I can pull it without difficulty with my 1999 Toyota Tacoma. I have put less than 200 miles on the suspension, tires, and brakes.
It has one Dometic Penguin air conditioner, Dometic 4 cubic foot refrigerator with freezer compartment, water pump, 6 gallon water heater, Comfort Control center operates the air conditioner and propane heater. 600 watt inverter and two deep cycle batteries run all the electrical systems; there are down lights in the cabin and reading lights in the bedroom, which has a sliding curtain for privacy.
You'll get plenty of sound from the Sony 6 disc changer/mp3 player and the four Sony speakers. Two 7.5 gallon propane tanks power the 3 burner stove, oven, hot water heater and refrigerator. 36X80 latex foam mattress get you all the deep sleep you need. Lots of storage under the bed, where the inverter is placed. Dinette folds out and sleeps two. Wood cabinets overhead and near the floor are spacious and have heavy doors.
The bath has a shower with slide and lock plastic door, near the sink are the winter heating switches--the Safari has a winterized heating package for the outside pipes--and the electric hot water switch and ceiling lights. There is an outside portable shower with hot and cold water on drivers side with electrical hookup, cable tv and phone hookups. Below these are the sewer drain which has grey and black water handles. There is a storage compartment in the back aluminum bumper and above the bumper is a storage space.
The trailer has four manual leveling jacks, a spare tire toward the front, tv antenna which retracts from inside the bedroom, radio antenna on roof, and power hitch makes connection to your vehicle easy.
