This top-of-the-line 1978 Airstream International, with a rear bath floor plan, was the “Sovereign Of The Road” because of its roominess and luxuriousness. This trailer is in good condition and ready to go camping or place to live – as-is. I guarantee all the systems are working.
Seating/sleeping configuration is a convertible double bed futon in the front galley and 2 twin bed/sleepers in the middle with full rear bath. There’s plenty of storage above and below. New roll up cream blinds on original windows, and skylights are intact with screens.
The kitchen comes with stainless double steel sink, 4-burner gas stovetop, and large ¾-refrigerator (propane or electric). Toilet, sink valves, shower/tub, water pump , 6 gal. hot water heater, grey water and black water storage tanks all functioning properly. The durable flooring is classic diner-style black and white linoleum squares. Foldout dinette and counter extensions.
Auto-lighting catalytic propane furnace with thermost controls. Power inverter. Original Hi-Fi 8-Track Stereo System (with dozens of classic tapes included).
Rooftop AC blows cold. Full-size awning with no rips. All running and marker lights function properly. Electric trailer brakes have replaced the old hydraulic system. Good tires and classic aluminum silver mag wheels. Newly-certified propane tanks. Crank down stabilizer jacks.
The exterior aluminum skin is in excellent condition and has been polished to a mirror shine. It has a dry weight of approx. 4975 lbs and a hitch weight of 650 lbs. It’s been towed easily with most mid-size SUVs and trucks or larger.
