Vintage 1980 24ft AIRSTREAM Caravelle Intenational Travel Trailer

The Caravelle model was a special narrower 7ft floorplan production model designed specifically for the export market. This model was only produced for a single year in 1980 and the total production number was very small, possibly less than 100 currently in existence. The Caravelle was somewhat a companion to the Minuet of that year and came in 20ft, 22ft, and 24ft lengths.

This Vintage 1980 24ft AIRSTREAM Caravelle is a fine specimen of the original vintage Travel Trailer which has become an American Icon. Its an ALL ORIGINAL and COMPLETE trailer that is in great condition. We possess a clear title with no liens or encumbrances. The exterior skin is in good condition with only the typical rock ding around the bottom front skirt under the hitch. PET-FREE & SMOKE-FREE it has a dry weight of approx 3317 lbs according to factory specs and a hitch weight of 347 lbs. This 1980 24ft AIRSTREAM Caravelle has a Seating/Sleeping configuration of (1) Convertible Double sofa in the front galley and (2) twin beds in the mid compartment. It also has plenty of storage, a kitchenette with retro harvest gold counters & nice original sink, (4) Burner stovetop, and a nice bath with full shower in the rear. The 24ft size is desirable because its size allows plenty of space while still remaining easy to maneuver. It is well suited for small growing families and weekend excursions. This trailer is particularly special because of its rare limited production model and narrower floorplan designed for the European market.

The exterior skin is in very good shape with no dents or dings other than a minor beauty mark or 2 around the bottom skirt. Some exterior clearcoat deterioration is present along the upper edge. The main rooftop panels have been painted white to reflect heat. All the exterior electrical lighting functions properly as well as the brakes and it tows great. All interior surfaces are free of rips, tears, stains or smells and floor is solid. Original cabinetry and trim is in good original condition. All systems in working order and fully serviced. The new owners can expect a pleasant and professional purchase experience.
