HIGHLY DESIREABLE 13 PANEL 18 FOOTER

This Vintage 1957 18ft AIRSTREAM is one very fine specimen of the original vintage AIRSTREAM Travel Trailer. Complete Professional Polish tops off this beautiful example of the Airstream 18 footer, courtesy of P&S Trailer Service of Helena, OH. All systems serviced, in good working condition, and ready to use. Clear title with no liens or encumbrances. The coach has a dry weight of approx. 1750 lbs and a hitch weight of 180 lbs. Interior configuration is (1) Convertible dinette in the front galley and (1) Double bed in the rear compartment. It has a kitchenette with original ceramic sink, original (3) Burner Preway gas stovetop, original MARVEL electric icebox, and original PanelRay heater that are all in working condition. This little gem has all the hard work done already is is now ready for the artistry of upholsteries and draperies. Nice professionally done vintage trailers dont come cheap, so if you've been waiting for the right vintage Airstream trailer to come along, it only makes good sense to go with the guys who've been doing it since 1968 and have a lengthy proven track record to back it up.

In most catalogs and brochures these 18ft trailers are referred to as 18 footers and some Ohio brochures refer to the model Caravel and some show up with Wanderer and Globetrotter names even with the same features and layout. But interesting enough very few had a model nameplate. 18 foot trailers were made in both the Ohio and California factories since 1954. The California trailer is discernable from the Ohio trailers by the teardrop shaped wheelwell cutouts. Ohio wheelwells were squared. - with gracious acknowledgemant to RJ Dial.
