EXCEPTIONAL VINTAGE 1966 21ft AIRSTREAM GLOBETROTTER TRAVEL TRAILER

This Vintage 1966 21ft AIRSTREAM GLOBETROTTER is one very fine specimen of the original AIRSTREAM Travel Trailer. All systems checked, tested, repaired/replaced, in good working condition and ready to use. Updates and Newly replaced Items listed below. Clear title with no liens or encumbrances. This coach has a dry weight of approx. 2990 lbs according to factory specs and a hitch weight of 420 lbs. Seating/Sleeping configuration is [1] Convertible Gaucho in the front galley and [1] Convertible pull-out double gaucho in the middle compartment. It also has plenty of storage, a kitchenette with original porcelain sink, and a [4] Burner MAGIC CHEF gas cooktop w/oven. This 1966 Globetrotter is VAC qualified and full of period retro elements like the molded wet bath in the rear compartment, NEW laminate tile floor and NEW professional retro 1960s inspired upholsteries. This is one of the nicest completely original trailers you will see and is a quite desireable model due to its size and weight. It is roomy yet easy to tow with a standard vehicle.

1966 Airstreams have a harmonic convergence of desireable features that make them lustworthy for vintage trailer aficionados. The outstanding interior woods add a clubby elegance that is visually lightened and modernized by lighter interior elements. The big news for 1966 was the introduction of frame-less Corning chemically tempered curved glass windows on the sides of every trailer, which hugged the exterior contour and gave all Airstreams a very slick and smooth appearance. Inside, the new folding dining table makes unnecessary choosing between a dinette or gaucho up front; both are always available. The UNIVOLT systems use of 12 volt light fixtures, appliances and electronics makes it very easy to update them or add modern components not even dreamed of back then. With their sleek exteriors and rich warm real wood interiors the 1966 thru 1968 Airstreams are amoung the best of the 5 panel old shape Airstreams ever produced and well worth your serious consideration.

Everything from top to bottom has been serviced & tested, and is in good working order. All NEW and replaced items listed above. Original DOMETIC refer gets very cold. All appliances operating nicely and are in excellent condition. Original cooktop shows some slight surface corrosion which does not effect functionality. NEW Professional Cushions and upholsteries. Kitchen counter is original and in excellent condition.
