This Vintage 1970 21ft AIRSTREAM GLOBETROTTER is one very fine specimen of the original AIRSTREAM Travel Trailer. All systems checked, tested, repaired/replaced, in good working condition and ready to use. Updates and Newly replaced Items listed below. Clear title with no liens or encumbrances. This coach has a dry weight of approx. 3380 lbs according to factory specs and a hitch weight of 420 lbs. Seating/Sleeping configuration is (1) Convertible Cafe Dinette in the front galley and (1) Convertible pull-out double gaucho in the rear compartment. It also has plenty of storage, a kitchenette with stainless sink, and a (4) Burner gas cooktop w/oven. This 1970 Globetrotter is VAC qualified and full of period retro elements like the Peach bathroom, original tile floor and professional retro 1960s inspired upholsteries. This is one of the nicest completely original trailers you will see and is a quite desireable model due to its size and weight. It is roomy yet easy to tow with a standard vehicle.

Two things make this particular trailer special: [1] Its condition. The refurbishment brought it back to top near new condition. [2] The floorplan. Although the typical Globetrotter model offers the standard front and side gauchos with full rear bath/shower arrangement, this trailer offers an unusual factory side bath arrangement in the rear. The second gaucho is in the rear rather than the side. This creates a much more open and livable interior configuration.

HISTORY/DISCLOSURE: This is most likely one of the nicest original Airstream trailers that you'll ever see. Exterior professionally polished to a mirror shine. Everything from top to bottom has been serviced & tested, and is in good working order. All NEW and replaced items listed above. This unit was returned to the factory 10 years ago for interior uplift and service upfit and was previously very well cared for. Solid throughout with no soft spots in floor. Original DOMETIC refer gets very cold. Armstrong Rooftop AC blows cold. All appliances operating nicely and are in excellent condition. Professional Cushions and upholsteries in good condition. Kitchen counter is original and in excellent condition. [2] Minor dents/dings exist on the exterior of the trailer on the front curbside corner and behind the rear curbside window. Neither of these are very noticeable in the photos. We did not feel these were enough of an issue or noticeable enough to warrant panel replacements. This vintage AIRSTREAM trailer will attract attention everywhere it goes, just wait and see as you collect curious admirers at every gas station and restaurant along your travel path. Original Vintage Trailers do not get any nicer than this one.
