This Vintage 1948 16ft AIRSTREAM WEE WIND is one very fine specimen of the original vintage AIRSTREAM Travel Trailer. Complete Professional Polish tops off this beautiful example of the Airstream Wee Wind, courtesy of P&S Trailer Service of Helena, OH. All systems serviced, in good working condition, and ready to use. Clear title with no liens or encumbrances. The coach has a dry weight of an est. 1000 lbs and a hitch weight of 110 lbs. Interior configuration is (1) storage cabinet in the front galley and (1) Double bed in the rear compartment. It has its original aluminum kitchenette with stainless sink, and a (3) Burner Princess gas stovetop. If you've been waiting for that right vintage Airstream trailer to come along, that truly rare collectible piece that stands apart, it only makes good sense to go with the guys who've been doing it since 1968 and have a lengthy proven track record.

As mentioned previously, the WEE WIND model preceded the now famous BAMBI, which was made from 1961 thru 1963, and recently inducted into the Museum Of Modern Art. Several 16ft models predated the Bambi, including the Pacer and Bubble. The Wee Wind was the first of these and considered the first modern post-war 16ft Airstream travel trailer. The Wee Wind model was produced for only 2 years and it is estimated that only 100 were ever assembled. According to the serial number 3025 this particular trailer was the 25th WEE WIND to roll off the assembly line and is currently being considered for the Airstream permanent collection at the Jackson Center facility. This WEE WIND has had all the difficult and tedious work completed already. It is now ready to decorate, personalize and enjoy.
