This Vintage 1972 20ft AIRSTREAM ARGOSY is one wonderful specimen of the original ARGOSY Travel Trailer. It has been restored and updated for another 40 years of service. This coach has a dry weight of approx. 3200 lbs according to factory specs and a hitch weight of 420 lbs. HISTORY/DISCLOSURE: This wonderful vintage 1972 20ft Airstream ARGOSY is one of the nicest examples you'll see. Most everything in the trailer is original, has been serviced & tested, and is in good working order. All NEW and replaced items listed above. Original DOMETIC refer has been replaced w/New Stainless Steel Electric only model. All appliances operating nicely and are in excellent shape. Kitchen counter is 1970s original retro pumpkin and in excellent shape as is matching pumpkin enameled double sink. New running & marker lights installed all around. (2) Minor plumbing leaks existed, one in the front and one underneath the bathroom. These have been addressed and fully repaired. The plumbing leak in front created a 6in soft spot in the floor which has been replaced and repaired. The original exterior rear taillight surround was in bad shape and cracked from age when we took in this little trailer. Since this part is obsolete, we rebuilt this rear taillight housing with fiberglass back to original new condition, sanded, primed, and color-matched the paint to the trailers exterior. Looks like brand new and will now last the life of the trailer. This vintage AIRSTREAM Argosy trailer will attract attention everywhere it goes, just wait and see as you collect curious admirers at every gas station and restaurant along your travel path. Original Vintage Trailers just dont get much nicer. This is a very solid vintage trailer that is fully ready to use and enjoy immediately.
