Thoughts on securing wood slatted shades?

I want to put wood slatted shades on the windows in my Airstream. Any thoughts on how they can be secured to conform to the slanted walls? I have considered velcro or some sort of clips on either side of the shade to hold them in place. Ideas?

There are actual brackets that you can buy that secure those types of slatted shades to a window. Some window treatments actually automatically come with them.
