There used to be....Shirley "Cha Cha" Muldowney
She seems to be even hotter than Danika Patrick, but, again, I'm sure the media made more out of her than she really was. But, then again, the media makes more out of most stars than they should be given credit for. They are just human beings, after all, with more money for better make-up than most women.
Not on your life. I dont want to bash Danika Patrick, because it does take courage to strap into the
car and race. But she's no Shirley Muldowney. Shirley meant business. She was the genuine article.

Hi, there are some other good female race car drivers out there in Indy and NASCAR, but they don't get paraded around like Danika.

Hi, "and don't call me Cha Cha." She seemed to be OK with it for a while then changed her mind, I believe.

I see what you mean about Shirley Muldowney! Thanks for sharing! She was seriously all about racing. I think Danika Patrick wanted to be, too, but then the media gave her a big head.
I wonder if they had this woman in mind when they created the character 'Pinky Tuscedero' on Happy Days. She was a pretty tough gal, too!
