Has anyone seen the new Google Chrome Book. They are net books that are built for net surfing. Seems like it could be a good way to stay connected while traveling. What do you think?

I've heard about them but I want to wait until I can actually test one out before making any hardcore judgments about them. It's basically just a netbook with Google OS, right? And special Chrome-related keyboard buttons?
I looked online for info but did not find much I guess they are waiting for the official release soon, but from what I did read it looks interesting.
The incomperable Excella can open up a luxurious new world of travel experiences for you. It is filled with all the affordable luxuries you would ever desire.
I'd rather take my laptop. I don't mind the netbooks but why buy two machines for the same reason? I would rather have a full featured laptop and be able to do what I want instead of having fewer options. But that's just me. A lot of people must like netbooks or they wouldn't be manufacturing them.
There is no failure except in no longer trying.

Well, netbooks are good if you're going traveling without a camper or anything like that (or using it for taking class notes, etc), as they're smaller/weigh less/don't break your back when you carry them around. But if you have an airstream then a regular laptop would work just as well, as you have room to store it (presumably) and no problem with weight.
It just depends on your needs, really.![]()
For me having two Laptops is a must. The reason is because I make some money online. The extra income has been a life saver with the cost of gas rising as well as the cost of food. That is why I am wondering if I should have a computer made for the net, plus my full featured Laptop.
