Can anyone assist with how to remove and fix my Thetford Aqua Magic Galaxy 30 toilet? I fill the bowl but it will not hold water and suspect it must be a seal problem. I could really use someone's expertise as I have a rally in SEP and it must be up and running or replaced. If replaced, what would anyone suggest? I believe this is a short style toilet.

Yes it's a seal issue, you can try cleaning any 'crud' around it but more likely the seal needs replacing.

I think if it was me, I would splurge on a new toilet. (If it has been there since '73, then you have probably gotten your money's worth!) Any RV parts dealer could help you figure out which one you need, as it is not an Airstream-specific unit.
