Is there like a Kelley Blue Book for Airstreams or at least for RVs? How is the resale value of a unit derived? I know Airstreams hold their value over time. I'd just be curious what mine's worth.

NADA has an rv guide although I don't know how far back it goes.
Prices & Used Values for RVs, Travel Trailers & more - NADAguides
Typically older Airstreams go by market value, that is what the buyer is willing to pay. Various classifieds are used by sellers to set the average selling price and then there is options to consider as well.
The incomperable Excella can open up a luxurious new world of travel experiences for you. It is filled with all the affordable luxuries you would ever desire.
I can say this:
There is no other RV I'd want to own, but in reality, Airstreams loose their value just like any other RV. Sure they last longer if cared for properly, but in the end, you paid more for it, so it will have more left compared to most SOBs. It's the economies of scale thing....but what I've found is that folks will pay what they feel is right for an Airstream. I've seen some 2004s asking $32k....not that I think they'd get it, but use whatever you see as a guide, not law.
That said, I plan to de-winterize my pooch in a few weeks and am chompin' at the bits to take her out for a trip!![]()
Most any other vehicle depreciates in value, but an Airstream seems to get better with age. Sure, you can buy a newer model, but it just seems weird to travel with too many modern convenciences.
In any market, it is often just a matter of supply and demand. If I were selling, I would fix up a vintage Airstream so neatly and cleanly that someone would want to purchase it for a premium. In the meantime, I'd enjoy the use of it myself.
When you buy an Airstream, just know that you have made a great investment. You may have to make a few minor repairs here and there, and keep up the maintenance, as with any vehicle. But the value can not be found in any "Blue Book".
