    Expenses on the road

My brother just called from his trip to Disney. They decided to go this past week and didn't do much planning ahead. He says it's really expensive, and that everywhere they went, the admission fees, rentals and food are really expensive. They went somewhere they had already paid to get into, but their daughter wanted to ride the Lazy River. They had to pay extra for that and rent an $8. inner tube. Traveling sounds like the good life, but the good life requires a good supply of twenties and fifties, doesn't it?

If you plan on visiting theme parks you'll need ALOT of extra cash, it's best to research before hand as much as possible the cost of things via the internet and most places give their prices online then you can decide from there to splurge or set a limit.

If you only travel for the sake of it, like I do, you don't need a lot of money. There are road expenses like gas or tolls but I bring most of the food from home and lots of clothes so I don't spend a fortune when I travel.

A trip to Disney, or any other theme park, for that matter is going to cost. I think most people pretty much are aware of that. That's why a trip like that takes a lot of planning and a lot of saving. I would personally opt to take my kids on a more educational trip that is less expensive. Most times, you can have just as much fun. There are amusement parks and fairs that cost a whole lot less than Disney, and the kids will love it. Just never put the thought of Disney in their heads!!

Hi, yes traveling is expensive. My last trip of about fourteen days, cost about $1200.00 for gas alone. Then there was camp ground fees. We bring most of our food from home and seldom eat out.
