I'm in search of a door handle for my 1960 18' no-name Airstream. Any help I can get in locating one that isn't broken would be appreciated. The exterior handle is broken and the key is broken off in the lock. The interior handle is fine.

Welcome aboard the Forum.
If you can post some photos of yours that would be helpful.
I think the pickings are slim....
This one is very similar but horizontal orientation. Whether you
can somehow use parts from it is unknown [exterior handle];

Maybe here's pictures of my handle.
My suggestion at this point...

there is a phone number printed at the top in red.
Call Steve and have a conversation about this.
Im not sure if you can combine parts from a new lockset
with yours to fix it [attach new outside handle].
The other option, which will require some research, is
finding a specialty fab shop to repair it....OR obtaining
one from a parts trailer somewhere.
It all depends on how badly you want to keep it original [I would].
Ive heard from numerous people over the years that there is
a guy in Arkansas [I think] who has huge barns full of old obsolete
airstream parts....I never can remember his name.

Thanks! I'll give steve a call tomorrow. That one looks like it would work but, of course, they don't make them any more.
Here's a picture of my little trailer. It looks good on the outside but, when I took up the "cover up" 1/2" plywood on the inside the floor was major rotten. So I am having to replace most of the floor. I think it is going to be really nice when (and if!) I ever get it finished.
This is my first project to do so I will be full of questions for the forum. Thank goodness it is available.
